Service & Repair Faqs

How do I know if my pool pump needs to be replaced?

Signs your pool pump may need repair or replacement include: loud grinding or screeching noise, pump not priming, low water flow, pump running but not circulating water, or the pump motor tripping the breaker. Don’t ignore these signs — a failing pump can lead to poor water quality and algae growth quickly.

My pool heater isn't heating. What should I check first?

First, make sure the thermostat is set correctly and that water flow is adequate — heaters won’t fire without proper circulation. If those look fine, the issue may be with the igniter, pressure switch, or heat exchanger. A licensed technician should diagnose heater issues to avoid safety risks with gas equipment.

What is a warranty station, and why does it matter?

As an authorized Fluidra/Jandy/Zodiac warranty station, Splash Pools of NWFL can perform warranty repairs on covered equipment without voiding your manufacturer’s warranty. This means you get factory-authorized service from a team that knows your equipment inside and out.

Do you repair all pool equipment brands?

We service and repair most major pool equipment brands including Jandy, Zodiac, Fluidra, Hayward, Pentair, and AquaCal. We do not service vinyl liner pools or handle structural remodels.

How do I know if my pool has a leak?

A common test is the bucket test: fill a bucket with pool water, set it on a pool step, and mark both the bucket water level and pool water level. After 24–48 hours, if the pool has lost more water than the bucket, you likely have a leak. Evaporation affects both equally. Call us for professional leak detection if you suspect a plumbing or structural leak.
